METALLIC Epoxy Countertop/bench refurbishments
Our Experience
With over 22 years of experience in the kitchen remodeling industry, our team at REPAINT IT has been doing epoxy countertops /benches since 2016. This was a new concept and I decided to offer this to our kitchen painting customers. We have coated Granite , marble , laminate and natural wood counters.
The Process
It takes numerous steps to coat the counters/benches
- Sink and hobs are removed or lifted
- Counters are cleaned and any joins sealed and sanded
- All masking up takes place covering the fronts
- An epoxy primer is applied
- Epoxy is mixed with different metallic powders
- Epoxy is poured at 2mm thick which allows it to have strength and self level and allows the front to flow over correctly.
- Once dry after 24hrs it's sanded and a satin or gloss polyurethane sealer is applied
All appliances and sink are refitted and now you have a unique one of a kind seamless counter
